Rita Mae Geske, 92, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully at Delnor Hospital on September 18, 2022, with her family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2004. She is survived by her sons; Edward (Gloria) Geske, Darren Geske, daughter Linda (James) Hoelscher and grandsons, William Geske and Patrick (Natalie) Geske.
Rita had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. She held her faith, family and friends as her most important priorities. She handled the good as well as the difficult times with dignity and grace because of her faith. She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church.
Rita was a loving wife and wonderful mother who was always there when anyone needed her. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. She loved sending cards to her friends. Rita was a sports fan. She and Donald had fun bowling on leagues for many years. Rita was the ultimate Chicago Bulls fan. She always cheered them on taking notes during the games as if she was their coach. Rita also loved nature, gardening, crochet and knitting.
The funeral was private.
