Charles Reams Obituary

LONDON - Charles E. Reams, 61, of London, passed away on Sat, Aug. 5, 2006 in the Marymount Medical Center in London, KY. Charles was born on Aug. 10, 1944 in London, KY, son of the late Frank And Francis Depew Reams. He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Army having served two tours of duty in Viet Nam, Charles was a member of the East Pittsburg Baptist Church in London, KY. Survivors include a son Curtis D. Reams of Lexington, KY, these brothers and sisters Wilma Dean Johnson of Lake Wales, FL, Betty Huff, Barbara Irvin, Wayne Reams, Bobby Reams and Brenda R. Johnson all of London, KY. He was preceded in death by a brother James Reams. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wed, Aug. 9, 2006 in the chapel of House - Rawlings Funeral Home, 510 East Fourth Street, London, KY. Burial will follow in the Mack Reams Cemetery in London. Friends may call after 6 p.m. on Tue, Aug. 8, 2006 at House - Rawlings Funeral Home. www.houserawlings.com

Charlie, I'll always remember you; especially the time we were selected to play baseball on the All Star Team to represent Kentucky against the Ohio State All Stars in Hamilton, Ohio. I will never forget our tours in Viet Nam and how the Good Lord was good enough to send us home safely. Rest In Peace, Brother. Your Friend,
