I just found Wilson's obit, and now realize that he died in 2017 (5 years ago). Too late for me to reconnect with him. I wanted to thank him for introducing me to Special Relativity theory, many years ago ... it has been very important to me.

My name is Mike Fontenot. Wilson and Mary Lou lived next door to us in Boulder, Colorado, many years ago. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get in touch with Wilson. If anyone can get a message through to him, please ask him to email me at [email protected] .

Dear Dr. Routt's family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Routt. During my first year at UK I worked with her as her teaching assistant and learnt a lot from her. She was a very kind and generous person who taught me valuable lessons about being a teacher. Above all she shared her faith with me and I know that we will see her some day. May God's peace be upon you during this time. Alice.

Wilson and Kristen, I saw the obituary after visitation was over. I am so very sorry to hear about this and know it is a great loss to you. The greatest comfort is to know where she is now and that we will be reunited someday. What wonderful memories you have of such a precious person. We had great times in AGD, and afterwards. My prayers are with you. Pam

Dr. Routt was one of my favorite professors at UK. She truly loved children and always kept their best interests at heart. She taught me so much that extended beyond the classroom. I am saddened by her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with her family . May your faith in God help you in this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to find out about Mary Lou's death. She was such a sweet person and an inspiration to all of her students. She seemed to care about each of us. I loved eating lunch with her and our friends since her retirement in May 04. She will truly be missed.

Mr. Routt and Kristin,
I was saddened to see Dr. Routt's picture this morning in the paper. Not only was Dr. Routt a professor of mine at UK, I also worked with her for 2 years(1997-1999) as a graduate assistant. She was extremely kind and compassionate. She was an inspiration to me. I don't know that I would have made it through graduate school without her! We also shared in the fact that we are both members of Alpha Gamma Delta. My prayers are with your family.
Love,
Julie Ogden Biddle

I was saddened to hear that Mary Lou has gone to be with Our Lord. But know she was a trusty servant who's love for Him showed in all she did. I got to know Mary Lou in Family Studies many years ago then we reconnected at Centenary. We took several Bible Studies together. It was a privilege to have known her and she will be missed greatly at Centenary. May God bless and comfort the family and friends she left behind. She was a great lady.
