Morris D. Green
January 15, 1933 - July 20, 2021
Mt. Sterling, Kentucky - 88, passed away Tuesday, 7/20/2021. He was born January 15, 1933 in Winchester to the late Frank and Maggie Curtis Green. He was a retired Lineman with G.T.E. He is survived by a daughter, Marisa (Chad) Hunt, Paducah, KY; a son Keith (Jane) Green, Winchester; sister Betty June Bailey and brother Bill Green, both of Winchester. He is preceded in death by brothers Prewitt and Curtis Green; sisters Virginia Hopkins and Kathleen Rye. As a friend of Bill W., he shared his experience, strength and hope with others, that they may receive what he was so freely given. No services are scheduled. Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

I had the pleasure of being one of Morris´ nurse aids/medication aid while he was at Windsor. We were very close, he loved me and my son like we were his own family, and we felt the same about Morris. He had pictures of my son on his wall, and would ask me every morning how my son was, if he was awake yet, what he would be doing for the day... Morris was a funny, smart and caring man. He will be missed dearly.
