The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Jones Tabernacle F.W.B. Church with Elder Rose Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Survivors include husband Rev. Lass Lassiter of the home; sons Carnell Lassiter, Fredrick Lassiter of Fayetteville, Gary Lassiter of Kinston, Braderick Lassiter of Jacksonville, Fla., Lass Lassiter III of Durham, and Michael Lassiter of New Jersey; daughters Jacqueline Bryant of Winterville and Kathleen Craig of Goldsboro; brother Willie Bryant of Maryland; sisters Helen White, Shirley Joyner, Velma Joyner, Doris Joyner, Geraldine Joyner and Josephine Ambrose, all of New Jersey; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Swinson Funeral Service.
