Betty Ann Likens, age 73, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord September 29, 2017. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who could cook a mean batch of fried potatoes and onions. She was preceded by husband of 50 loving years James Likens Sr., brothers John Henry Murphy and Allen Murphy, Parents Roy and Annie Murphy, and friends of 30 years Ben and Veronica. She is survived by Son James Likens Jr. (Angie), Nancy rose (David Mitchell), six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brother Frank Murphy, and friend Brenda England. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday Night at Mynatt Funeral Home in the Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow, Reverend David Mitchell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Concord Masonic Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Monday for a 2:00 p.m. interment. www.mynattfh.com

I am sorry for your loss.Betty was a sweet lady.I havent been around her and her family for many many years.I remember going to visit when we was young and playing ball and setting on a blanket just talking.May God bless the ones left behind.May her grandchildren also remember her.God bless.
