Carol Lynn Carr Weber, of Knoxville, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Friday, October 21, 2016, 70 years, 10 months, and 21 days. She was a nurse, attending St. Mary's Nursing School and the University of Virginia Nursing school. She also worked in her family business. Carol attended Ritta Elementary School and graduated from Holston High School. While in high school, she was first runner up in the Grace Moore Scholarship program. She was a member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church, the Women's Service Guild, and the John King Sunday School class. She started the Good News Club at her church for children at Belle Morris Elementary School. She was an excellent Bible teacher and mentor who lead many young children to the Lord.

Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Mildred Carr. Survived by loving husband, Stephen G. Weber; brother, Grant Carr and wife, Judy; brother-in-law, Alfred H. Weber; sister-in-law, Sarah Babelay Weber; niece, Adrienne Marie Weber; nephews, Marshall Babelay Weber, Mathew Grant Carr, and Jeffery Phillip Carr. Special thanks to long-time friends and caregivers, Lois Nicely and Dawne Fortner. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Bridges Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Henry and Dr. Pat Polis officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 AM, on Wednesday, at East TN Veteran Cemetery, John Sevier, for a 9:30 PM interment.
