Charles Morrow Obituary

CHARLES N. MORROW - Age 82 of Riceville, TN, passed away Friday morning, February 16, 2007 at U. T. Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late Walter and Ruby Belk Morrow and was a member of First Baptist Church of Riceville. He was a farmer and former employee of Bowater in the finishing and shipping department and was preceded in death by one sister, Bertie Bishop; four brothers, Ed, Edgar, Hugh Frank, William Robert Morrow. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Laura Louise Oliver Morrow of Riceville, TN; four daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Ronnie Haynes of Mt. Juliet, TN, Anita and Jackie Cook of Madisonville, TN, Teresa and Phillip Lashley of Sweetwater, TN, Janet and Dickey Walker of Athens, TN; one son, Terry Morrow of Sevierville, TN; nine grandchildren: Ben, Katy and Brad Haynes, Heather Cook, Chloe and William Cate, Betsy, McKenzie, and Brittany Lashley; special niece, Frances Watson of Athens and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 4 pm Saturday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Roach and Rev. Johnny Carr officiating. Burial will be 2 pm Sunday in Riceville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Watson Jr., Donnie Wilson, Dewayne Spurlin, Dennis Shell, Kevin Huff, and Jackie Davis. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Ziegler Funeral Home, Athens in charge of the arrangements.
