Darrell Beeler

Rutledge, TN

Darrell C. Beeler, Sr., age 79, of Rutledge, TN, went home to be with the Lord August 21, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the Knoxville News Sentinel after 45 years as Foreman Supervisor Machinist.

He was preceded in death by parents Lillard and Ruth Beeler; and brothers L.R. and Lonnie Beeler. Survivors include loving wife of 59 years Nettie Beeler; son Darrell Beeler, Jr. and wife Sherry; daughters Darlene Lewis and husband Steve, and Deloris Copeland and husband Skip; grandsons Billy McCarty and wife Holly, Darrell Beeler III and wife Melissa, Daniel Beeler and wife Jessie, and Skipper Copeland; eight great grandchildren Taylor and Justin and their mother and step-father Lisa and Randy, Braxton, Briggs, Brayden, Camden, Peyton, and Corbin; sister Helen; brother Jackie and wife Linda; as well as several nieces and nephews. His grandsons and son-in-law will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM. www.mynattfh.com

It´s Darlene and I am missing you so much. Daddy tomorrow will be 9 years your passing and it is still hard thinking of you being gone. I love and miss you so much. You were the best daddy ever!!!!! I wish you could be here for all your great grandchildren you were for some but not all. The older ones are all growing up and some are finishing high school, college or going on to a job. It has been almost 7 years now sense you left us. I love you and miss you so much...
Billy and Holly gave us 2 more little boys and now expecting another baby in January. We all wish you where here to see them and them to know their great papaw. Life is not the same daddy there is always a part missing which is you and now Moma is gone too it is such a sad time now. Hi Daddy, it is me again and it is now 4 weeks one day that you have been gone. Daddy it is still so hard here without you I love you and miss you so much. I know I did not talk to you or see you every day but I knew you were here and now you are gone. Daddy I talk to you every day and it helps a little but still hurts so much. We are trying to help take care of mom but she misses you so much it is really hard for her. Tomorrow is mom's birthday we will be missing you here with us for her day.

I wish I had one more day to tell you that I love you and to get one more hug and kiss. One more day to help take care of you....soak your feet and put the bandage on the one foot. One more day to fix your breakfast, lunch and dinner. One more day to cut the crust off your toast cut up your tomatoes fix your plate to hear you fuss that's to much food take some off then you want it back to eat the rest. Nettie, I am so sorry to hear about Darrell, my life long friend, I am grieving alone with you, I loved him so much and he did me. When I think of my. Past, I Have such precious memories of Darrell, L.R. And Lonnie and David, we were a team. I will always think of him and his laughter, as we were growing up.
