With the passage of years many memories fade or even forgotten. That is not true of Jamie, Once having the blessing of knowing her, her grace, beauty, and intelligence remain forever fresh to her friends and family.

I found out today about Jamie Sue's death. She was my managing editor at West Side Story and was a wonderful mentor who had more confidence in me as a reporter than I did in myself. We later worked together on the Sequoyah Hills project. She was indeed an extraordinary human being.

My family and I will continue to pray for her husband, son and whole family.

When Jamie was struck with this terrible illness, we all prayed for a miracle. What we didn't realize is that we already had had our miracle, -- Jamie herself. She brought joy into all our lives and will be forever missed.

I only met Jamie once while interviewing her a few weeks ago for an article I'm doing about a book she wrote. But, even as ill as she was, she made time for me and showed both hospitality and a willingness to offer as much information and help as she could. I'm just sorry I didn't have the chance to talk with her again.

My condolences to her friends and family.

While Jamie and I were childhood friends as adults our lives took different pathways. When I think of Jamie I will rememer her young, loving and kind spirit. While we may have drifted in different directions I will look forward to seeing her in heaven again.

God bless... Beth

I am so sorry about Jamie. I didn't know her well, but enjoyed her the couple of times I saw her while at Cheryl's. I have a new appreciation of what people go through when they lose a loved one. Losing a sibling is a tough one. I wish I could be there for you like you were when we lost Cheryl. My heart goes out to you.

I was saddened by the passing of Jamie Sue. I was fortunate to have worked with her in Murfressboro at the News Journal. We were a young staff that was very close. Jamie was always full of energy and a fun loving person. I regret that I didn't keep in contact with her after we both left Murfreesboro. My sympathies go to her husband, her son, her family and friends. She will be missed.
