Joan Davis Lusk, age 82, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Fort Sanders Hospital of Knoxville on November 2, 2018. Joan was the owner of Knoxville Tours, Inc. in Knoxville, TN. Her three

children worked with her at the company. Joan always said, her greatest joy was working with her three children along side her. Joan was a very kind, caring and giving person. She always put everyone's needs before her own. She was very close to her family and she will be cherished and missed greatly by her children, family, friends and employees. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School and attended the University of Tennessee. She then went on to work at Y-12. She married Spencer H. Lusk and they had three children and lived in Oak Ridge. In 1973 they bought into the company Knoxville Tours, where they both worked. In 1979, she lost her husband, who was 39 at the time, to an automobile accident. She continued on with Knoxville Tours because that was their dream. She had moved to Knoxville several years ago, to be close to the business where she continued to work. In March she became ill and eventually succumb to health issues on November 2nd. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer H. Lusk; father, Carl Davis; mother, Goldie Gupton; brother, Gary Davis; and stepfather M.L. "Gup" Gupton. Joan is survived by her three children: Son, Stewart Lusk of Knoxville; daughter, Laura Lusk Williams and husband Robert of Oak Ridge and son, Daniel Lusk of Knoxville. She is also survived by her beloved grandson, Alex Lusk of Knoxville.

A private funeral service was previously held at Weatherford Mortuary. She was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens.
