Knoxville, TN

Badgett, Mark Luther, age 55 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018 to join his parents and brother. Mark was a member of Gillespie Avenue Baptist Church where he served for several years. He also served at Montgomery Village Baptist Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Snow and Virginia Badgett; brother David Michael (Mickey) Badgett; grandparents Luther and Victoria Badgett and Emmette and Georgia Ann Kincaid. He is survived by his sister Millie Badgett; uncle Gene Badgett; uncle and aunt Randal and Evelyn Kincaid; aunt Polly Kincaid; niece Wendi Allen; nephews Michael and Christopher Badgett, several great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL. Family and friends will meet at 8:45 am Friday, June 15, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 9:00 am graveside service with Rev. Chris Garner officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Gillespie Avenue Baptist Church or the Knox County Baptist Association. Online obituary maybe viewed and condolences made at www.rosemortuary.com.
