Michael Fry Gallaher, age 62, of Clinton passed away on April 21, 2016. Mike graduated from Clinton High School and received a baseball scholarship at Roane State Community College as a catcher and later played and graduated from East Tennessee State University. Throughout his life Mike loved coaching baseball, attending UT football games but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, William T. "Bill" Gallaher and Martha Henry Gallaher. He is survived by: wife Pat Powell Gallaher of Rocky Top; son Will Gallaher and fiancée Leslie of Rocky Top; daughter Ashley Gallaher Long and husband Jeff of Jacksboro; special companion his dog, Copper; brother William "Bill" and wife Gail Gallaher of Clinton; sister Cindy Gallaher Matthews and husband Dave of Charlotte, NC; step children Kathy Ingram Mitchell, Lonnie Mitchell, and Jason Ingram; grandchildren Keely, Sydney, and Colton Long; step grandchild Leanna and Tosha Bolinger, Misty Kazee and husband Michael Finney, John Ingram; nephew Jason Gallaher and wife Lindsey of Knoxville.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel. His burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday at the Grandview Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to W.T. Gallaher Sr. Scholarship Fund, 1608 Hidden Hills Drive, Clinton, TN 37716. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamble.com

Bill, Cindy and Will I worked for many years for Clinton Tire and oil Company. What a great bunch of people those Gallaher's Mike was a great friend will be missed deeply. I have a lot of memories of those days. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.
