Paula June Bales Mitchell - age 78 of Knoxville passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. Of the Baptist faith. Paula was a truck driver for many years. Preceded in death by parents, son, two brothers, and one sister. Survived by husband of 30 years, Jim Mitchell; sons, Robert (Charlotte) Mills, Walter (Pam) Brock, and Michael (Patty) Mitchell; daughter, Ginger Darlene Asbury; daughter-in-law, Gail Mills; sister, Shirley Dunlap; 22 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Vincent and Rev. Dana Fashman officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM on Friday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Union Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
