R.T. was my pastor at Clear Branch Baptist chruch where he baptized my sister and me. May may bless and comfort you and your family at this sad time.

Jodi, Mike and Robin..I am saddened to read of R.T. death..R.T.was praying with me when I was saved in a day revival and baptised me 50 yrs ago at Clear Branch Baptist, Tazewell Pike, Corryton..I loved you all so much and have wondered about you many, many times over the yrs, as to where the Lord had called him to pastor..It is with love that I remember what a beautiful family you were, and I have never forgotten when Mike must have been misbehaving that R.T. stopped his sermon and said "Mike behave yourself" and at that point all the children on that bench became quite..I have laughed at that over and over for many yrs and have told that story to my children and grandchildren..May God cover you and comfort you with his infinite love, and give you peace and joy in knowing that R.T. is now HOME with his Savior. I ask that God bless you always..It is with Love that I remember what wonderful people you are...Judy Capps-Orr

My wife and I have known R.T. for many, many years. The first time I met him was when I was Minister of Music and Youth at Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and he was pastor at First Baptist in Sheffield, Ala., in what was known as the quad cities or Muscle Shoals area of Alabama. Then when we moved to Cleveland 25 years ago we soon found out that R.T. was here also. There has never been any finer of a man than R.T. He is a great pastor and father and husband.
