Ashlie Biddle
SOUTH MILFORD - Ashlie Renee Biddle, 32, of South Milford, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
She was born on May 11, 1991, in Auburn.
Ashlie was a 2009 graduate of Prairie Heights High School. She was a 2013 graduate of Manchester University with a bachelor degree in History, and later graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master's of Library and Information Science.
She worked in customer service for several years, and would spend her free time reading, watching horror movies, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother, Deborah (Mike Marker) Smurr of South Milford; father Jeff (Stephanie) Biddle of Kendallville; sister Brooke (Monica Johnson) Biddle of Fort Wayne; stepsister, Courtney Conley of Kendallville; and a sister through friendship, Crysta Terry of Fort Wayne. Also surviving is maternal grandfather, John (Judy Owen) Smurr of Garrett; paternal grandmother, Jane Biddle of Avilla; uncle, John Biddle of Avilla; and stepgrandmother, Cindy Edsall of Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Judy Smurr; paternal grandfather, Robert Biddle; and uncle, Craig Smurr.
A private gathering and celebration of Ashlie's life will be held. Burial will be at a later date at Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.
Contributions in Ashlie's memory may be directed to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or in care of Thomas Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
