Cathy Woodward Obituary

AUBURN - Our beautiful and loving mother, Cathy Jo Woodward, 54, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Cathy was the oldest daughter born to Marilyn McCosh and Henderson Back on April 21, 1970, at McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana.

Cathy was the heart of the home. She raised her three children and many others as her own. Cathy enjoyed her fall and summer nights watching her children play recreational softball, camping, fishing and playing cards. Her happiest place on earth was soaking up the sun in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Her father; brother, Donald Back; and uncle, Joe Kruger, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Tyler (Tasha) Woodward, Sierra Woodward (Aaron), Ashleah Woodward (Kyle), Krystal Sorg and Ronald (Christine) Woodward. She was a loving grandma (Momo), to Brayden, Xander, Saydee, Elijah, Delanee, Chloe, Cassie and Natalee. Also surviving are her brothers, Chris Back and David Daniels; and sister, Debra Collins; also, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, chosen family and friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, IN 46706.
