Christina Handshoe Obituary
Ms. Handshoe was born in Fort Wayne on June 4, 1964 to Sara E. (Hazelton) Barton.
Surviving are two daughters, Christiana Marie Hollis of Largo, Florida, and Carrie Ann Yancey of St. Petersberg, Florida; a son, Terry Wayne Mahlor of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; her stepfather, Ira J. Barton of Shawsville, Virginia; two sisters, Nanetta (Collins) Tucker of South Milford and Sheila (Collins) Hicks of Columbia City; a brother, Steven Barton of Shawsville, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother, Sara E. Barton, who died in 2001; a brother, Jeffery Hazelton, who died in 1975; and her grandparents, Richard and Florence (Knott) Hazelton.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. today at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today.
