Justin Adams Obituary

LIGONIER — Justin Scott Adams, age 30, of Ligonier, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2018, in Ligonier, Indiana. He was born on February 21, 1988, the son of John McKibbin and Michelle Adams, in Goshen, Indiana.
He is survived by his son, Aiden Adams at home; parents Michelle (Tim) Limerick of Kimmell, Indiana and John McKibbin of Millersburg, Indiana; seven siblings, Brandy, Brooke, Bryan, Jerod, Austin, Alexis and Benjamin; grandmothers Jane McDonald of Ligonier and Patricia McKibbin of Millersburg, Indiana; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Michael McKibbin; a maternal great-grandfather, Herndon McDonald; and an uncle, Brian Adams.
Justin attended West Noble High School where he ran cross country and had great admiration for his music teacher, Michael Miller, who inspired him to learn and love music. And that he did. He could sing well and played numerous instruments fluently.
Justin was talented beyond music and had many varied interests. Those included traveling, skydiving, fishing, cooking and being on the water. He possessed a photographic memory, was quick-witted, and had a very contagious laugh.
More than anything, Justin loved his son, Aiden, along with all of his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in Justin's honor on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana.
Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018, and from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Yeager Funeral Home. A private cremation committal will take place following the services at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center.
Memorial contributions may be directed to his son's mother, Brittany Tackett, for the care of their son, Aiden.
Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier is assisting the family with arrangements. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.yeagerfuneralhome.com.

Sorry to hear of Justin's passing, sincere condolences to his family. The unexpected loss of a loved one is especially difficult, but Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
