Larry and I were best friends. We went to Aquinas together - we enlisted in the Air Force together. We went to basic training in San Antonio. One of his favorite stories was I was washing windows in a women's clothing shop where I worked. He came up Main Street - I asked where are you going? He said I'm going to enlist in the Air Force. He said I threw down the squeegee and I said - wait I will go with you! He then went to Illinois and I went to Mississippi and we didn't see each other until we were both discharged. He had in the meantime married Aquilla. When Patty was born - he asked me to be her Godfather. He was a wonderful friend. Rich Collins

Never knew Larry, but his sister, Joyce, might vaguely remember me. 4 of my 10 siblings have already passed.
guess we're all about this age, when we get to discover our final reward. I am Aquinas Class of 1958. Condolences to all family .

So sorry about this but joyful for him that he is with Jesus. I met him a year ago when my Mom came to Rosemont. He was always smiling. Very sweet. I learned that he was a dancer and loved music! Prayers for peace for the family.

So sad to see this. Knew Larry as a child when my parents traded at his Gulf station and then after I was grown too. Also knew him as a band parent at Wossman High School when his daughter Patty was in band with me. He was always such a nice friendly man. Prayers for the family
