CAROL SCHLUNG Obituary

She enjoyed playing cards and attending craft fairs. Most important in her life was her family, as she cherished attending all of her children's and grandchildren's school and sporting events.
Together, Carol and her husband had four children, Ron (Lori) Schlung, Tyanna (Jeff) Cannata, Charlene Utter, and Denise (Jeff) Greinke. Carol two also had nine grandchildren, Jennifer and Michelle Schlung, Alec, Jake, and Paige Cannata, Jaime and Ashley Utter, Nicole Lidstrom and Jakob Grienke; two sisters, Inger Gosch and Lillian Piagentinni; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial visitation took place April 2 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium in Grayslake.
A funeral service took place April 3 at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Grayslake.
Interment followed at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville.

Well, it'll be a year since you left us and I still think of you and miss you every day. We (Bob, Mary, Bud, and I) are still playing cards with George. Just so you know, he still changes suits every 2 minutes. But, we love him anyways. Thank you for being my friend.
