Brenda Barnes Obituary
CANAL WINCHESTER: Brenda L. Barnes, 49 of Canal Winchester passed away March 15, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of Donald E. and Daisy (Milliser) Steen Sr. She was born in Lancaster on April 2, 1964.
Brenda was an avid Buckeye Fan and enjoyed making jewelry. Brenda was a 1982 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was a supervisor for I.T. Department with Century Link for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Greg Barnes; children, Jennifer Barnes (Eric Haskett), Jason Barnes; granddaughter, Grace Barnes; father in law, Ron Barnes; sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Jones, Tonya (David) Bitler; brother, Don (Jody) Steen Jr.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, Jordon Myers, Adam and Brandon Jones, Corey, Kayla, Nathaniel, Khloe and Leanna Steen, Nathan Waller, Aaron, Amanda and Sarah Bitler, Katie Barnes and Jessica Barnes; brother in law, Jeff Barnes; and special friend, Cathy Byers.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Joshua Barnes; and mother in law, Ellen Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00 am at SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.

A true, real friend. It will be difficult to know you have left, to know I cannot call you. I thought about you often when I couldnt have time to see you. I have prayed for you many times through the years and I loved and still love you. I will miss you dear friend. I will see you again...real friends..have it like that.
