December 2, 1938 - January 27, 2022 Ada Faye Erwin went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Cathedral City, California. She was born December 2, 1938 in Ripley, Tennessee, youngest and only daughter of Charlie N. and Elma E. (Harrison) Brown. Erwin on November 28, 1957 and continued in ministry with him for 64 years. Many of those years were spent joyfully serving as a pastor's wife. Ada also served the body of Christ through their ministry, Servant Quarters, where she edited eight books her husband authored. During those years she earned a Masters in Business Administration and taught at Vanguard University and Cal Poly Pomona. Ada's interests included music, the arts, pottery collecting, and bird watching. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Elma Brown, as well as three brothers, Charles E., Benjamin L., and Ashley Paul. She is survived by her husband, Gayle Erwin, and four children, Gloria Robbins (Peter), Angela Kenny (Mark), Valerie Cottingham, and Clyde Erwin, as well as nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
