Carol Kaminsky

Carol J. Kaminsky (nee Kosteba) Dyer, IN Carol J. Kaminsky (nee Kosteba) of Dyer, IN, age 54, on Wednesday, July 7, 2004, conquered pain and entered into eternal peace. To those who had the good fortune to share her life, Carol leaves the legacy of how to--despite enormous challenges--live a life filled with love, dignity, courage and laughter. She forever will be an inspiration to and remain in the hearts of all she touched. Surviving are her devoted husband, Jerry, with whom she shared 33 precious years, beloved son, Stephen (Melissa) Kaminsky of Dyer, IN, her "sweetheart" granddaughter, Nikki Kaminsky of Dyer, IN, who gave Carol much of the strength to face her challenges. Also surviving are Carol's two loving brothers, Joseph (Sarah) Kosteba of Highland, IN and Roger (Linda) Kosteba of Griffith, IN; and numerous caring aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She leaves this world to rejoin her mother Amelia and father Joseph Kosteba. Carol attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Griffith High School in 1967. For many years, she and Jerry were avid Lake Michigan boaters and belonged to the Indiana Harbor Boat Club. Carol, in Jerry's eyes, was his captain who kept him on the straight course. Visitation will be Sunday, July 11, 2004, 2:00 to 6:00 PM, at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Friends and family are invited to meet on Monday, July 12, 2004 DIRECTLY at Calumet Park Cemetery, 2305 W. 73rd, Merrillville, IN, for a graveside service conducted by Father Michael Yadron. Donations may be made to the charity of choice in Carol's loving memory. May she forever rest in peace
