Over the years I grow apart from my dad. When he moved to Oregon we got the chance to renew our relationship not only as father and daughter but as friends. My dad was always there for me when I need his help. He gave me my name, my love of motorcycles and gave his approval when my husband asked for my hand.

I worked very closely with Dave during my 3+ years in the lab for the "Land of 1000 Faces" monster makeup show at Universal Studios Tour, the show that started my career, and Dave's, in the movie business. Dave and I spent hours together every day, perfecting our technique of working with new urethane foam technology to turn out prosthetics for the show, sculpting, making molds, casting, painting, finishing masks. I learned all of my airbrush techniques from Dave, and he helped me out immensely on a few personal projects.

We also spent a good deal of time playing backgammon together in the break room!

Dave had a fun, quirky sense of humor, and a penchant for telling elaborate stories about his experiences, including his life on an aircraft carrier, in the galley making cakes and things for hundreds of sailors.

Very fond memories of Dave.
