Friedrich Suter Obituary

July 8, 1939 - March 18, 2016 Friedrich "Fritz" Suter passed away on March 18th of this year. He is survived by two sons, Michael and Guntram, and four grandchildren, who reside in Europe, as well as a plethora of loving American in- laws. Fritz was born and raised in Vienna and was a successful businessman, as well as an accomplished and prolific artist. He married Karin Turek in 1988 and they lived in Switzerland until retiring in Van Nuys in 2002 to be near family. Karin passed away in December 2012. During their time in Van Nuys, they amassed (and were grateful for) a large community of devoted friends who joined with them in celebrating wine, food, friendship and art on a regular basis at their lovely home and garden. Fritz and Karin will be missed.
