HARRY J. WOLF
AGE: 86 METUCHEN
Harry J. Wolf, 86, of Metuchen, NJ, died Friday at his home. Born in the Bronx, NY, he has resided in Metuchen since 1978. Mr. Wolf was an Army Air Force Veteran, having served in WWII. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. He was an Insurance Underwriter at Johnson and Higgins, NYC, for 10 years.
One son, Thomas; three brothers and four sisters predeceased him. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Agnes(Morr) Wolf; eight children, Barbara Kuhne and her husband George of Metuchen, NJ, Richard J. Wolf and his wife Diane of Tiburon, CA, Dr. James H. Wolf and his wife Katie of Oldwick, NJ, Jane F. Wolf of Lancaster, PA, Harry J. Wolf and his wife Shannon of Fair Port, NY, Agnes M. Baffuto and her husband Phil of Metuchen, NJ, Peter T. Wolf and his wife Robin of Prosper, TX and Mary A. Peragallo of Metuchen, NJ; twenty two grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday 8:30am at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT27), Metuchen (costello-runyon.com) followed by a 9:00am funeral mass at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Entombment is at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation is Monday 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: National Kidney Foundation of New York/New Jersey, 1250 Broadway, Suite 2001, New York, NY 10001.
