Mike was the kindest man I've ever met. He treated everyone with the utmost respect, and he had not one ounce of pretense in him.
Although circumstances prevented us from getting together very often, I always kept track of his comings and goings as part of an extended group of friends who used to ski together many years ago. Mike was the most ardent skier of the group, and he maintained his good cheer despite getting injured on two consecutive trips.
Rest in peace, MK.
