I will miss him terribly. What an amazing man! So kind, so generous, so organized, so thoughtful...

I have great memories of the times I spent with the Sear family growing up in Laguna and at San Onfre. Dick and his VW van, all the kids in the back with Missy the dog off on some surfing safari. May he be on his biggest safari ever...So sorry for your loss Wendy, Brad, and Catherine.

Dick was a real blessing to me and a good friend. I have enjoyed having him be a part of my life. I will miss him terribly. He is with God in heaven now, and I hold my fond memories close to my heart.

The first line of Dick's obituary speaks volumes for the individual he was. It made me laugh and it was so much like him. I will miss our conversations about everything under the sun. My condolences to Wanda and all his children in this difficult time.
