Annie Tillery Obituary

Annie Mae Tillery October 3, 1931- November 29, 2004 PHENIX CITY, AL— Mrs. Annie Mae Tillery, 73, of Phenix City, died Monday, Nov. 29 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Minister Larry Vaughn officiating, according to Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th Street, Phenix City. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Tillery was born on October 3, 1931 in Pike County, Ala., to Sarah Phelps Russell and Ned Russell, both of Phenix City. She retired as a nurses aide from Cobb Hospital and Phenix Regional Hospital after forty years of service. She was a member of Phenix City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Lee Tillery, son William Wayne Tillery and two brothers, Matthew Russell and Stanley Russell. Survivors other than her parents include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Petrova Tillery of Theodore, Ala.; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and John Lentz of Phenix City; three grandchildren, Tammy Tillery, Jacqueline Tillery and Katerina Moore; one great grandson, Nathan Moore.
