Columbus, GA- Beverly Brown Harris, 71, of Columbus, GA died on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church 5122 Pierce Chapel Rd. Midland, GA 31820 with Rev. Lynn Meadows-White and Rev. Howard White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Harris was born August 4, 1945 in Edison, GA daughter of the late John William Brown and Carol Drucilla Bailey Brown. She worked with her husband at RCE of Albany and was a member of Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, J. Wren Harris of Columbus, GA, children, Jay Harris (Kay) of Macon, GA, Jeri Kinna (Todd) of Phenix City, AL and April Benefield (Bryan) of Blountsville, AL, and three grandchildren, Josh Harris, Sarah Harris, and Rebecca Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.
