I really dont know what to say. My heart is breaking for you! I know what Ellie meant to you and how precious a gift she was to all of you. I am in constant prayer for you and love you all very much. We cannot begin to imagine your sorrow. Ellie is so very blessed to have experienced your loving family during her short time here. I still remember meeting her at the football field last year for the first time. She had all of her brothers and that bright smile as her proud Daddy showed her off and sweet Mother watched her. You are so blessed to know Christ as your Savior and know that this is not good-bye. We cannot wait to see her again in Heaven. May God continue to bless your family.

Dear precious Chance, Emily and boys,
We are deeply saddened about little Ellie. 2Corinthians 3:2 comes to my mind as I remember her. Emily was a letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody that saw or met her. She showed that she was a letter from Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on the tablets of human hearts. Emily lived the very heart of Christ. Psalms 139 tells us that she was fearfully and wonderfully made and all the days of her life were ordained for her and written in God's book before even one of them came to be. I praise God that you allow God to put himself, his heart on display and that He is your portion, your strength, your peace. The letter of Ellie's life will continue to be read and we all wait to see the wonders that God will perform through it. We know that He is not finished yet. There are so many orphans in our world. We know that true religion is caring for the widows and orphans. I love you dear ones. I am praying for you and share your grief. But praise God that He does not leave us or forsake us, but is our strength and our peace.
