Please remember the following: Physically, life may be a slow but inevitable slipping down the slope that leads to death. But from the spiritual point of view life is climbing up the hill that leads to the presence of God.

Thank you so much for showing such enormous love and support for our family during this difficult time of loss. Dad was truly a monument of strength, a well loved, and respected man. He left us a legacy to uphold, exceptional Christian values to live by and the family unit to honor. Life is so precious. Don't take it for granted!!!! I met Eugene when I moved to columbus in 1965. I knew that he and I would get to be good friends atwork. I was the display Mgr. and I needed his help on many ocassions alwas willing to help.Iask God to bless all in this time.

Years ago,Mr. Maddox was my boy scout leader.We had a wonderful time.A great man has left us, but his leadership skills, kindness,and caring will be with all the scouts. Thank You Mr Maddox. May you rest in peace.

Society has truly lost a sense of heritage and tradition, something truly needed in today’s times. Not only did we lose Uncle Gene, we have all have lost a great leader.
