Columbus, Georgia- Mr. Travis Crawford, 57, of 1243 Bunkerhill Rd., Columbus, Georgia died Friday, September 27, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday, October 4, 2013 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, Rev. Curtis Crocker Jr. pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave., Columbus, GA. Visitation will be 12-6 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Mr. Crawford was born March 16, 1956 in Vernon, Texas; the son of the late Ernest Jones and Winnie Lee Jones of Grand Prairie, Texas. Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie D. Crawford, daughter Travilla Crawford and granddaughter Lana both of Columbus, GA, and Bre'Ann Oages of Oklahoma, OK; three brothers, Pete Crawford, Otis Darryl Jones (Ida) and Ernest Jones Jr. Amarillo, TX; one sister, Jeanette Franklin of Grand Prairie, TX; three grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, CPT. Ret. George Scruggs of Phenix City, AL and LTC Ret. Charles Weaver (Jacqueline) of Florence, SC; two sisters-in-law, Christine Bazmore of Montgomery, AL and Anne Henry (Al) of Phenix City, AL; other relatives and friends.
