Albert Gallo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Apr. 14 to Apr. 15, 2010.
Albert Gallo, a 35 year resident of Sterling Heights, died in his home, Tuesday, following a long illness at the age of 73.

Albert was born in Detroit on May 25, 1936, a son of the late Frank and Vita (Foggia) Gallo. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Walker on September 12, 1959 in Detroit where they first made their home until moving to Sterling Hts. Albert served his country during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Army. Albert worked as a barber before he began his carrier as an electrical contractor and electrician for Chrysler Motors. He retired at the age of 62. Al loved fishing, boating and most of all his family. He enjoyed building and maintaining a beautiful fish pond in his backyard. He played the accordion, was a very spiritual person who loved his Lord and never complained. He will be deeply missed by the many he has touched in his lifetime.

Albert is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; his loving children, Karen (Ron) Castonguay and John Gallo; his grandchildren, Andrew (Gallo) Curto and Jessica and Alex Castonguay. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony and Martin.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Friday from 1pm till 9pm and Saturday from 10am till time of funeral services at 12noon. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. Share memories with the family at www.faulmannwalsh.com

Dad-
Words cannot discribe you. You were a second father to me and a father-in-law that any man would have been proud to have, I could not have asked for better. Thank you for being part of my life.
