Alice RAVENHILL

RAVENHILL _ Alice Catherine Alice Ravenhill (nee Murray) passed away on 3 October 2003, in Williams Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie Ravenhill; her siblings, Edith Stevens and Dorothy Chapman, John and Doug Murray. She is survived by her brothers, Mel and Tom Murray; her children, Ann Ravenhill (Paul Hoyer), Barrie (Sandie) and Tom Ravenhill (Anne); 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Born in Vancouver on 8 July 1916, Alice grew up in the West End and after her marriage to Charlie moved to the Yukon in 1940. In Dawson City and later in Whitehorse she was active in the "Nutty Club", IODE, the Legion and the PSAC Union. A Tea will be held in her memory at the home of Ed Stevens, 1671 Westminster Ave, Port Coquitlam at 2:00 pm, 25 October.
