SHERMAN, Allan "Obby" - Age 42, of Flint, died February 1, 2005 at Genesys Regional Medical Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Friday, February 4, 2005 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc with Rev. Jim Gilliland officiating. Friends may gather to share and remember from 11AM to 9PM Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers. He was born June 19, 1962 in Clare, MI, the son of Albert and Mary (Allen) Sherman. Mr. Sherman had attended Heritage Baptist Church in Fenton. He had worked, delivering parts for H&H Wheels. He was an United States Army Veteran. He is survived by: his loving wife, Tina; father, Albert; sisters, Valerie and Karen; brother, Paul; nieces, Krystal, Terik and Maria; nephews, Ty, Jason and Brock; great-nephew, Nikki; special friends, Ray Lafave and Lisa Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary "Lou" Sherman; brother, Terry Sherman; a sister-in-law, Lynn Gilliland; many other loved ones.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Allens family.

I know I would have missed out if I hadn't had the privilage of hanging out with Allen those last few years at FOS. He was a big reason to keep showing up daily at school.

Also I thank him for taking me to the STYX concert our senior year and sorry he didn't get to go to Ceder Point with the cheerleaders!

Happy Birthday, Allan!

So many memories, and that's the one that sticks out the biggest for some eason. Everyday was Allan's birthday. FOS would have been half as fun without you there, buddy.

My deepest sympathies to Tina, Albert, Valerie, Paul, Karen, and the rest of the family. It's been many years since I've seen all of you, but you're all still as fresh in my mind and heart as if it were only yesterday. I was deeply saddened to hear of Allan's passing, he was always such a lively, animated, happy person every time I saw him.

May he rest peacefully in God's arms.
