Alyce TOWNSEND

TOWNSEND _ Alyce Suzanne (nee Pradine) passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Vancouver General Hospital. Alyce will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Michael Matthews; daughter Susan; son Marty (Donna); grandchildren Ryan, Aleece, Hayley and Megan; also by her brother Allan (Joan); and other family members. Alyce was predeceased by her husband Ronnie in 1977. Alyce was a loving and beautiful soul whose generous heart endeared her to anyone who knew her. She was our guardian angel and we know she will be lovingly watching over all of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 1st at 1 pm at Shaughnessy Heights United Church, 1550 West 33rd Ave in Vancouver. A Celebration of her Life (Social Gathering) will follow at The Sutton Place Hotel in the Salon Pommard at 843 Burrard St, in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. "What is dying?
