Andrew "Andy" Teeple Obituary
Andy graduated from North Side High School in 2001 and attended Ball State University. In addition, he was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church Parish. Among his many talents and interests was his title as "Superman", an unequaled ability to train dragons, conquer virtual worlds and stave off any attempts by family, friends or anyone else to feel sorry for him. He was a dedicated fan of the New Jersey Devils and Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by brothers, Matthew and Travis (Brittnie) Teeple, niece, Brylee Teeple, grandpa Ed Hosier of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Rita and Den Solvie of St. Paul, MN.; and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins all who loved Andy dearly. He was preceded in death by grandma, Connie Hosier; great- grandmother, Catherine Teeple; grandpa, Chuck Teeple; and uncles, Mark, Christopher and Joseph Hosier.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St. with visitation one hour prior. Father Bob D'Souza officiating. Visitation also from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017, at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Burial will take place at a later date at the Catholic Cemetery. Jeff and I would like to thank everyone for your kind words, thoughts and especially your prayers. We're taking it one day at a time, just as we did when Andy was with us. Dick and Jackie I think of Steve everyday. He was such a great role model for Andy and Kent Romy. Love to all!!!

Jeff and Pat: We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Andy. We were out of town and didn't hear about his passing until this week. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family during this very sad time. As you know, we have "been there" and know the pain you feel. Andy is well now and happy in Heaven with our Lord.

Dear Pat and Jeff,
This is Dr Smits who had the honor of caring for Andy for so many years. I returned from vacation to find he had passed. I'm so sorry to miss his service and visitation to share in his most amazing life. God obviously kept him longer that most with muscular dystrophy so that he could serve our Lord better in Heaven. I will never forget him and his soft ways. His courage was exemplified by his refusal to have people feel sorry for him. He gave me strength, and for this, I will forever be grateful. I knew Andy from high school. He was always such a sweetheart, very kind and respectful. He always saved me a dance at semi-formal and Prom :) He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I played games with Andy. He was an inspiration to so many. He didn't hide his struggles, but embraced them and became a real life hero to so many of us. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear that Andy has passed. Andy was so gentle and kind. I loved livIng with him. We were roommates back in 2008. I'll be coming to Fort Wayne for the services. Praying for the family.
