Dear Paddy and all of Andy's family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Andy's death from my brother.
He was a wonderful person, a quiet leader and great supporter.
He was my best friend from Grade 2 to Grade 13 in Fruitvale. I don't know how many times we went fishing in Kelly creek behind his father's property. In our teens, we spent hours riding our bikes through Fruitvale before we could drive. The most memorable times with Andy was picking fruit in the Okanagan valley. We picked fruit for three summers in a row, the last was a full summer where the owners were so comfortable with us that they left for two weeks vacation.
After Grade 13, he went west to UBC and I went east to General Motors Institute and an automotive career with GM. After his graduation, he came east to work for Ontario Hydro were we continued to see each other. My wife and I went to his wedding in Ottawa and then visited him in Cornwall before he headed west again.
I will have Andy and his family in my prayers, especially his brothers.

Thinking of you all at the passing of your precious husband, father & friend. Andy was a JLCrow class mate, arriving to our Class Reunions in his '63 Grad Sweater - he 'always' looked 18 (stepping out of a time capsule) happy & smiling - Andy is remembered as amazing!! Dear Paddie and all of Andy's family, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Andy's death. Along with so many of his old classmates at Trail's J L Crowe Senior school, I remember fun times, with Andy's infectious laugh in the middle of all the activities. I can still see how proud he looked to fit in our old grey Grad sweater at a reunion! The other men were jealous and the women all thought "Yep, as handsome as ever!" Sincerest sympathy and many kind thoughts being sent your way. Carol (Buchignani) Albo --Rossland BC

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Andy's family and friends. He was a true gentleman, who had great passion in his work and a greater love of his family - always with a smile, bounce in his step and a twinkle is his eye. Heaven has another angel! RIP!

Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
