Ashley Lauren Cimino

Ashley Lauren Cimino, age 30, died on July 4, 2018 when her life was tragically taken too soon by her husband through a senseless act of violence. Ashley loved her two boys and her family. She was a generous person with a huge heart, and would do anything for anyone. Ashley was very social, charismatic and outgoing, with a happy disposition and outlook on life. She also had an infectious smile and was very intelligent. Ashley loved spending time with her family, friends, and going to the beach. She also idolized and cared greatly for her grandfather, Dominic. Family traditions such as birthdays and holidays were very important to Ashley, especially Christmas time.

Ashley is survived by her sons, Dominic and Angelo; her parents, Alba and Paul Cimino; brothers, Adam and Sam Cimino; grandfather, Dominic Cimino; uncles, Peter Cimino and Albert Borgnis; aunts, Cheryl Cimino, Alberta Lucarelli and Hazel Borgnis; God mother, Judy Sidella; and many cousins and an abundance of friends. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandmother, Dorothy Cimino and maternal grandparents, Edna and Albert Borgnis.

A visitation will be held Sunday, July 8 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh. A funeral mass will be on Monday, July 9 at 1:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC.
