To Pat, Jeff and your families. We just learned of your Mother's death and want to send our sincere condolences. We were neighbors and friends way back at capehart back in the '70's and I am sure we met through you boys and our boys. Many a fort was built and many good times were had by all. I last saw your Mom, while I was visiting in Bangor many years ago ,at a yard sale she was having with a friend. We again shared many laughs .
Prayers are sent your way and big hugs, Carolyn and Jack Teague and Mike, Dan and Chris and their families too.

Audrey was a wonderful person to know. I met her through my work with the County and looked forward to meeting with her during my visit. She spoke often of family, furry friends and Nova Scotia. Always smiling, always happy. I will miss her.

Two summers ago, Aunt Audie showed up at my cottage door on Horne Settlement Road in Enfield, NS. I hadn't seen her in about 35 years. Since then we stayed in touch and planned to visit again last week. Although, it did not happen, I am grateful that she and I kept in touch over the past 2 years.
My deepest sympathy to Pat and Jeff and
your families. My parents, Dot and Gerry Barrett, always loved your mother and recounted many happy stories from time to time over the years.

My very deepest sympathy to the Horne families
on the loss of your dear mother Audrey.
I knew Audie from grade school on. We both graduated from Lexington High with the class of '57. My brother and Audie's father worked together at Rowe Chevrolet in Lexington many years ago. Audrey will be greatly missed by her family and co-workers and her many friends.

Pat, Jeff and families just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about the passing of and old friend. She and I went to school in Nine Mile River before moving to Lexington. In summers I would go to Lexington with she and Shookie and the next summer they would come to my home. A great loss for us all. I would love to meet you both. Emily Lacey

Pat, Jeff and families, just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you. I am deeply saddened by the passing of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and I have great memories of spending time in the Horne household, especially when your mom called me "Julio" instead of "Jorge." You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Auty will be missed very much by the campers At Sullivans, where she had her trailer. She will always be remembered walking her dogs around the campground in a stroller. Also remembered by other locals, such as staff at the Elmsdale Laundromat, who were shocked to hear of her passing. they enjoyed her conversations.
Our condolences to the family.

To my dear friend of eight years, your death has been a great shock and I like many others are very saddened. It was one week ago today you sat with me in my office to tell me with excitement of how very much you were looking forward to this vacation to be with your precious family. Although I never met any of your children, grandchildren or pets you shared with me often many happy moments you had with each. My sincere sympathies to all your family as well as the District Attorney's Office and the entire community of friends you made in your life. You were well loved. Your passing has reminded me how precious life is and to never leave someone on an unhappy or unpleasant note as you never know if you will have an opportunity to make it right. Adieu, Mon Ami, Adieu.

Jeff, Pat and families - I was very sorry to hear about Audie. She was always so full of energy and fun to be around. For years I looked for her at dance recitals - it was always nice to catch-up and hear how the families were doing. I have no doubt she is with Mark in heaven watching over all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Audrey when I moved up here and started working out of the DA's office in 1991. What fun she was to talk to and be around. She was the anchor there. I wish I had visited her more after I retired. We would occasionally run into each other in a store and I was met always with a laugh and a hug. Hard to believe she is no longer with us. She was a dear and loyal friend.

I still can't believe Audrey is gone. I worked for her for 14 years....fresh out of college, she gave me my first real job. I was just thinking about her the other day. I was driving alone in my car, laughing out loud at something she used to tease me about on a regular basis. We had some really, really fun times together, from nights out at Finnegan's after work, silly shopping trips to get an office Christmas tree or a DA Girls trip to the riverfront to try and sneak a peak at Johnny Carson on his yacht. Audrey liked to have fun and made us laugh a lot at work. Miss and love you Ms. Audrey. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Thanks for showing us all how to be a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Our deep sadness for your families, Jeff and Pat. Your mother was a lovely and classy woman. Jamie has told me many stories of Audy's love for her family and their friends. She was loved by everyone. I wish I had known her better. She will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you Audy. James and Kandi Robertson and Family

I've known Audrey since 1982 when I moved to Otis and she and Doug were running the Otis General Store. We spent many a fun evening at the Hilltop House in Ellsworth. I've reconnected with her off and on through the years. I had a surprise chance meeting with her last month in the grocery store. I was on my way to an afternoon cookout at Beech Hill Pond and I tried to get her to join me but she was just returning from a vacation week in Nova Scotia and she was anxious to get home. I sure wish I had twisted her arm just a little harder on that invitation. However, I'm very grateful for that chance meeting and the one last hug, last story, last laugh. Good bye my friend.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Audie's death. We were just talking to her on Friday morning and she was joking and laughing with us. She planned to come see us this week. Earle loved to reminisce and laugh with her over old photos that brought back fond memories to both of them. We just can't believe she's gone. She was such a fun loving, joy-filled person. She will be missed by so many.
Our hearts ache for you and your pain and loss. We pray that God will comfort you with many precious memories of her and the good times you shared.
