Barrie STENING Obituary
Barrie peacefully slipped into his final sleep on the 4th of March 2022, at Maida Vale Rest Home, aged 83 years. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret. Proud dad of Antony and Tahnia, Richard and Kristen, and Kathryn. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Mike and Brad, Joshua, Max and Sophie, and Ashlan. Adored great-grandfather of Oliver and Adelyn. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Society - Taranaki would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Barrie will be held in The Chapel Of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Thursday, 10th March 2022, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Numbers are restricted due to covid and vaccine passes and masks will be required to attend Barrie's service. We share your sadness and sorrow. Barrie was one of our friends, cheerful, reliable, dependable. It was a pleasure to be in his company. We can´t begin to imagine the trauma which you and your family are experiencing but if there is any comfort in knowing that you are in our thoughts every day perhaps it might help a little bit . STENING, Barrie Morris:
On March 4, 2022 at Maida Vale Home in New Plymouth. Loved eldest son of Joyce and Wilfred (Nig) Stening (both deceased). Special and admired brother and brother-in-law of Margaret (deceased) and Steve, Heather (deceased); David and Bo, Paul and Lea. A full and successful life ended much too soon.
Barrie will be sadly missed.
