Basil Dubblestine Obituary
(Retired Employee – City of Peterborough Public Works Department) – At his residence on Thursday March 29th, 2012 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Beatrice Dubblestine. Loving father of Greg (Kathleen) Dubblestine of Peterborough. Dear grandfather of Jonathan (Laura) Dubblestine of Cavan. Will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Special uncle to Donna and Sharon. Brother in law of Phyllis Dubblestein. Predeceased by his sisters Flossie, Bernice and his brother Elmer. Funeral service will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. On Monday April 2, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Visitation to be held two hours prior to the service from 11:30 am until service time. In memory of Basil donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.comstockfuneralhome.com.

Dear Aunt Bea,
We are so sorry for your loss. We did not know Basil well but on every occasion that we had to meet him, he was a kind and gentle man with a warm heart and a friendly smile. We know he meant the world to his family and we know he will be missed.
