Barbara and Sandy, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your mother and hope that your memories will carry you through your period of reflection. I'll always remember your mother as person with an upbeat disposition who was interested in the activities of younger people. I believe she, along with my mom, were the last of the old bridge club that carried on for many years

Mrs. Cooper was a very special lady. I have many fond memories of her with Mrs. Miller when they were volunteering in the Personnel Office.

Although I have not spoken to Mrs. Cooper in several years, I remember her well...She was a kind, warm person who had a great sense of humor. When I worked as your Dad's secretary, I was once late returning to work from a lunch time errand. She wrote me a "parental excuse" which he accepted with a great deal of laughter....I am sure she and Merle are looking down on their family as you were very dear to them....You are in my thoughts and prayers...

Bea Cooper was a lady in every sense of the word. She and Merle practiced mentoring long before it became a popular concept. It was especially evident during the late 60's, early 70's with the evolution of ACTEC. My entire family (Ray Casey) has many fond memories of the Coopers and continues to hold them in the highest regard. They were both shining examples of compassion. My Mom, Hilda, also sends her regrets.
