Bernard Pierre Lebeau

M. Lebeau was my mentor and best professor i ever had. I had not realized how fast the itme has gone by. heowuld have been proud to know that with his support i embarked on a great carreer and retired form the military as an Officer, a long way form the young man who first walked in to his office many years before. If I had not been living ove rin Europe for th elast 20 plus years I may have had a chance to have come to naperville to tell him of my adventures... I wish his family well. Many thanks M. Dear Marcia and family. How sad I am to read this passing of your dear husband and father. It was an honor to meet him even so late in his life. I hope he as given you all the stories of his amazing life. What a gentleman . I am glad I was a small part of helping him with his needs this past winter.

Monsieur Lebeau always encouraged me in my study of French while I was at NCC. He steered me to Middlebury for my MA, which opened many doors for me. Monsieur Lebeau was an amazing professor, advisor, and mentor! He truly was such influential force in my life. He instilled in me such a love and appreciation of the French language and culture, and of learning in general. Although It's been over 35 years since I graduated from NCC, there really is not a day that goes by that I don't think fondly of him and of my North Central College experience!
I remember the many great cast get togethers, after our French plays, in your lovely home!
