Betty L. Duda

Betty L. Duda, 58, of Donora, died Monday, June 2, 2003 in the Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. Mrs. Duda was born in North Charleroi on Feb. 14, 1945, a daughter of the late Angel and Mary Probasco Fernandez. She was employed by Elliott Company in the shipping and receiving department. Mrs. Duda was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Donora. She is survived by her husband, Ronald S. Duda Sr.; three sons, Robert Duda and wife Bobbie Jean of Donora, Alfred Ferguson and wife Michelle of Monessen, and Ronald S. Duda Jr. of Donora; six sisters, Joan Joll of Elizabeth, Mrs. Robert (Estella) Kesling of Clarksburg, W.Va., Barbara Fernandez and John Hoffman of West Newton; Lynda Petroske of Donora, Mrs. Francis (Rita) Curran of Webster, and Mary Lou Reynolds of Haverstraw, N.Y.; one brother, Angel Fernandez and wife Bertha of Webster; three grandchildren, Courtney Ferguson of Monongahela, and Brooke and Robert Duda Jr., both of Donora; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAMES A. RABE FUNERAL HOME INC., 701 Thompson Ave., Donora, where prayers will be said Saturday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Philip Neri Church, with the Rev. David J. Kriss officiating. Burial will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Duda's name to Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 571 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa. 15033.
