Beverly Hill was a gracious and beautiful lady who inspired and touched so many lives. I had the great pleasure to know her when I was a student at Matoaca High and then later to call her my colleague when I was a teacher there. I have fond memories of her and the greatest respect. She was a teacher's teacher and one of a kind! May God lift and strengthen her family in this time of sorrow.

Your Mother was a great inspiration to her many friends and students.
I think she shared her love of teaching with everyone she met. I was very proud to have known her if only for a short time.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all!

Vela, Both your mom and your dad were very dear to us. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Mrs Hill was such a lady of dignity and she had such a wity sense of humor. Our band played @ the local nursing home where she was and we enjoyed her humor then as well. She certainly loved the Lord and was always eager to share her knowledge of Him with others. Her accomplishments in life were so inspiring and her love for her family was evident in every conversation. May your memories and love carry you during this time and may you find your strength in the Lord even more stronger during this time than ever before. She was a lady to be admired and truly loved by many. She has left quite a legacy behind that many can carry on and even learn from. God bless you and your family.

Your Mom was my Government teacher at MHS in 1983. Wonderful, loving and caring person! I would occasionally run into her at Ukrops and she always had a BIG smile and kind words. She loved her lipstick too! She will be fondly remembered always. With my deepest sympathy and prayers.

I owe the start of my time management skills (of which I am quite proud) to Mrs. Hill. The projects, the time frames, and her unwaivering expectations set the stage for my career success. She was wonderfully inspirational and will be remembered fondly. With much love.

I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Hill's passing. I had her for U.S. Government at Matoaca HS in the early 1990s. I remember we used to call her "The Scan-Tron Queen" because every test was multiple choice and on a Scan-Tron sheet. Good memories. She was a great teacher and she'll be greatly missed....
