Dear Munro Family,
My name is Gordon McLennan and I suggest you may not remember me; I was Andrew's closest friend at Thornleigh Public Primary School.
My memories of playing with Beth in your front yard are still strong and the warm hospitality shown towards me by your family and especially Mr Munro hasn't ever been forgotten.
My parents are John and Audrey McLennan; our address was 12 Cedar St Normanhurst. I have an elder sister Linda; an elder brother David from my recollection went to school with your David, the youngest James.
My message is threefold; the sad acknowledgement of the passing of Mr Munro, the second to highlight his wonderful legacy; a true gentleman and thirdly his beautiful family.
Yours Sincerely,
Gordon McLennan
