van DYK - Brianne Brianne slipped away suddenly, yet peacefully, in her sleep at her home in Victoria, B.C. on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Brianne was born on March 28, 1980 at West Coast General Hospital. She was predeceased by her father, Armand (Herb) van Dyk, in November 2013. She will be greatly missed by her family, mother Audrey Kearney (husband, Gordon Sedawie) of Delta, B.C., sister, Angela van Dyk (husband, Lee Evernden) of Qualicum Beach, B.C., grandmother June Kearney, now Hickman (husband, Jack) of Kingston, Ontario and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brianne was cremated in Victoria, B.C. An informal reception to honor and remember Brianne, who left us way too soon, will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday November 22nd, 2014 at the Quality Resort Bayside, 240 Dogwood St., Parksville, BC V9P2H5. In lieu of Flowers, donations to Canadian Mental Health ( cmha.ca) New Horizons Centre, 3178 2nd Avenue, Port Alberni, B.C. or the B.C.
